Is there a way to set up Plex’s “Camera Upload” so that it uploads in a non-sharing folder, preferably in the users Windows roaming folder?
I’d like to know if there is even a way to change the default upload folder? I wanna use my own sync folder and not the one that plex sets. Anyone?
You define where Plex Photo Library is, and where the photos are uploaded. So just create a Photo Library that is in the roaming folder, or wherever, and then enable camera upload on that Photo Library.

I’m having issues uploading photos to an existing library.
So what I’ve done is the following: Created an new library on the Android phone. To this library I added my exsting photo folders on my server (Ubuntu 16.04 server, /srv/pictures). So far, so good. On the phone I pointed the upload destination to an exsting folder where I want the pictures to be uploaded ( /srv/pictures/Plex Sync).
The upload now works and the testpicture is shown in the right album on the devices. But the store destination is not /srv/pictures/Plex Sync as I expected but is /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Media Upload/Handyfotos/Plex Sync/.
And that’s what I meant when I was writing the above. Why does the Client does not upload to /srv/pictures/plex Sync?
I would bet these issues are connected?
