Can have two plex media servers and I can only have one accessible at a time, why is this?

I run two plex servers but even though their external ports are seperate, the only one can be remotely accesible at a time, is this a limit of my plex pass or something like that?

Server Version#: 4.121.1 (both)

Player Version#:8.29

Sounds like you created the 2nd server by „migrating“ the original one. This way the new server shares the old server’s machine identifiers and Plex considers them to be the same machine.

If that’s the case… stop the new server, access the server data directory and edit the preferences.xml file, removing all machine identifier key/value pairs (iirc there’s approx. 4 of those). On restarting the new server it should assign a new machine identifier and Plex will consider the servers to be separate entities.

Is there a particular reason why you’re trying to run those as different machines (instead of e.g. use the 2nd NAS as a media storage and link it from the original server)?
