Server Version#:laterst for synology dsm 7 x86_64

i just updated my synology DS916+ to dsm 7.0.1 After a little tinkering and some youtube videos i got everything to work again. but now i have 2 plex folders in my root. a plex folder and a plexmediaserver folder. can i remove the old plex folder or is it still in use and how can i confirm that everything has migrated properly before i do so then?

Verify the Plex share is spelled “Plex”.

Since DSM 7.0-41890 finalized, I’ve had time to digest everyone’s input as well as review what we ultimately ended up with in DSM 7.0
Looking at all the issues faced, there was one overriding problem which could not be solved – Plex’s data was not accessible from the GUI or other Synology tools such as Hyper Backup.

— YES, you can delete the Plex shared folder unless you want to use it for other purposes (like media).
The user Plex can be deleted to avoid future confusion.
The installer would have removed both of these for you had DSM 7 not stripped it of all necessary privileges.
