Can I record live tv from a Samsung Smart TV with Plex pass

Hi - got a headache trying to figure this out from FAQs & forums - never ending paths to follow with no clear answer - but please give me a URL if I missed it.

I have a Samsung Smart TV, which receives local TV channels through a terrestrial aerial. So the TV has a tuner - but is this usable for Plex Pass?
I can also view other stored media using the Plex Media Player app on the TV.

I want to be able to record live and timed TV from the smart TV to my Media Server (runs on a PC, connects PC and TV with WiFi) - is that possible & not too difficult? If so, how should I go about it?

You cannot record from your TV itself. You need a turner device to record it for you.

Not possible, no smart tv that I know of will let you record anywhere else than on a USB disc it controls completely and is directly attached to the TV.
