Can I share my media via Plex Pass with relatives who do not have Plex Pass?

Hi all

I have a Plex lifetime pass. I want to share some of my media with my sister and my dad and am looking at getting them an Amazon First stick for accessing Plex. Will they be able to share my media without paying for a Plex pass themselves? Should they set up their own Plex accounts and me invite them to share, or is the only way to create local Plex accounts and me log them in via my account?

They make their own accounts, then you invite them to share your media.

Ah, great, so they don’t need a Plex Pass to access my content then?

No they don’t. You may want to review the FAQ entries so you can get everything shared with them properly.
