Can I use the internal sound card input port in my Plex server to stream music to Plex Players?

Hi,

I am running Ubuntu Server v20.04 on an HP Z600 Workstation
Server Version#: 1.21.0.3711
Player Version#:5.12.2 (Samsung TV)

I would like to attach an audio device (lets say a CD player or tape deck) to the audio input of the HP Z600 and have Plex Media Server stream the playback to whichever Plex app requests it (ie the Plex app on my Samsung TV or my Roku or android phone, etc.).

Can this be done? If so please explain how and/or share some links.

Plex is not a live streamer.
