On my plex server app i can log in but no content shows up. i can play content off of my apple tv with my content. whats the issue? it looks like i am a guest user.
same issue on my LG tv I can sign in but nothing shows up.
Make sure you’re signing in with the same Plex account as the server is registered under. I know this sounds dumb but there was someone else having an issue like this and that was literally the problem. They had signed in under the “wrong Plex account”, they said.
Try resetting the client customization. The system will also take you back through re-pinning your libraries if you do this.
Yep, i checked the log in and its matched. also i just did the reset customization on the server. it did not work
Have you checked the libraries from the “More” section, or just the “front page”/pinned content? Also, are you looking at the “Recommended” tab or the actual “Library” tab of each section?
Have you using the Plex Preview App mode or the original app interface on the LG?
movies / web shows / news / podcasts/ music is what shows. nothing from my library
downloaded and signed in from the plex app in the LG content store
You have two accounts and are signed into the wrong one on your LG and are signed into the right on on your Apple TV. Your server is signed into the same on that is on your AppleTV.
On your AppleTV look at the username at the top left of the home screen of the Plex for Apple TV app.

You are right; i had two accounts…i was logged into an old trial Plex account that i forgot i had before apparently signing up for another one a few years later. Everything is working great now. Thanks for the help!!!
