Can no longer access Plex Web, stuck at select user.

See Attachment for image with error log
As you can see i can’t get access to the Plex Web site in Safari (the answer should not be use crapy Google Chrome) and it is reporting that it can’t access the server that is in the same subnet as my laptop. My other MacBook can access it just fine (it was still open and never closed it)

Even if it can’t access the server (which it can) it still should login.

Solved after removing PIN via android, web didn’t do it

Same issue for me.
Stuck on “Select user”, while using the “https://app.plex.tv/web/app” in Chrome.
Using the local address inside my network works ok in Chrome.

My problem solved my disabling the “Home pin” in the plex profile.

I’m having this problem after adding a family member then they accidentally deleted themselves now I can’t sign back into the web version to re-add them! Just sits with a spinning circle after you click Launch

Sorry about this issue. We’ve identified the problem and are currently working on a fix.

This should be fixed now.

I’m experiencing the exact same problem right now (Server at Version 9.12.6).
Whenever I try to login vi local IP, DNS or any other method than using “https://app.plex.tv/web/app”, I keep getting the same problem as kongou2 already mentioned.

Btw.: This problem only occures when I use Windows paired with Crome / Firefox (I didn’t test other Browsers) as well as with the Windows App (win 8.1). Androd App and Windows Phone App don’t experience this problem, as for now …

I’m still having this issue. If I go into another browser and clear Chrome from the device list it works again, but every day now it hangs on the “select user” thing just spinning until I clear it from the list again.

Please fix as this is super annoying.

I am also having this issue and it is not fixed, please see the https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/174720/can-not-access-plex-server-locally#latest post which has all the software/server versions and everything that has been attempted to resolve…

It looks like the media server that was released did not included the latest web bundle (version 2.4.15).

Until another server update can be released with that fix, you can use plex.tv/web, clear your browser’s cache / storage, sign in using your username and password and enable “Automatically sign in” in the web settings, or remove your PIN for the time being.

YES! So glad to read this - I have this issue too, and it has killed my LG TV Plex App as well :frowning: Can’t access the local server from the tv any more either which is driving the family mad.

This should be posted somewhere prominent. I have seen many posts that might be solved by telling everyone this as a sticky or blog post.

Glad I found this as well. This problem just started with my PMS this morning and I was able to quickly resolve it.

Well I updated tu the latest Server Version, but am still encountering this issue.

On Safari I am having the same issue as well. i cleared browsers cache, deleted pin, to no success. It is still stuck on user and nothing happens when i click on it…

The issue still remaining

Hi everyone, I also have the problem on my OLED65B6V with WebOs 3.0 version.
I get a error when installing Plex app.
Is there another way to perform this installation, such as via USB stick?
Hope someone has a solution. Thank you
