Can not match TV Shows

Hello!
I cannot match TV shows for metadata anymore. It does not work on theTVDB or The Movie DB neither automatically or manually. It just gives “no search results” whatever I search for.
Plex does sort it in shows/seasons/episodes but it cannot match.

It works for movies that use agent Plex Movie (Legacy).

I’ve read though old forum posts and tinkered with plex settings, firewall, dns, antivirus but I can’t get it to work and I’ll be thankful for any tips.

I have also been experiencing this problem.
Plex has stopped retrieving metadata for all TV shows over the past few days.
Movies pull the metadata no problem however.
It seems to have started around the time I updated to Version 1.21.0.3711

I did a fresh install of 1.21.0.3711 on a VM and it matches correctly so it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the version however something is not working with my install.

Try this procedure. This is as close as you can get to actually nuking the whole server.
But it will only nuke the agent configuration and resets every (legacy) agent-related setting to defaults. [HowTo] Reset metadata agent preferences to defaults and whack caches

Sadly it didn’t fix the issue. I guess a full reinstall is in the cards for me this weekend.

Any remnants of a VPN software in the OS or some non-default firewall rules?

Is the current server running in a VM?

Any non-default firewall software or anti virus software installed?

The original server is a physical Windows 10. No extra firewall or antivirus, just Windows defender with pretty much default settings. I’ve tried to disable the firewall but to no avail. No VPN software have ever been installed on the server.

I ran the test-server with VMware on this machine, I’ve had a linux VM running forever so it’s not a new install that should cause issues.

Didn’t help anything on my end either.

I get this message after it fails
Error refreshing metadata for com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb://77075?lang=en
swap out the id # for whatever show it isn’t updating the metadata for.

no vpn running on the server. firewall rules on the router haven’t changed and everything was working before.
Movie library has no issues pulling in metadata.

After uninstalling and installing Plex again it started to match Tv Shows.
