Can not play music on plexamp

Hello,

i recently discovered Plexamp on IOS and it worked fine until a couple dags a go. I was listening to music and suddenly it stops playing music on my iPhone. When i looked at the play button it became a loading icon. First i thought it was the cellular connection(5G) because i was walking outside. I tried to restart the app but with no luck. When i got home i tried it again but still no music. Then i tried via WIFI but still de play button turned in to an loading icon. When i tried the windows app on my PC i got exactly the same loading icon and no music. Also when i click on a song in de Plexamp app it cycles through multiple songs and it keeps on cyling.
i rebooted my NAS, reinstalled the plexamp app several times but with no luck.

I added the logs from the plexamp app. I only changed the public
Plexamp.log_without_p_ip.log (330.7 KB)
ip address to 00.00.00.00
I hope someone can help me with this problem.

There are network errors all over the logs, so it looks like it can’t connect to your server.

I’ve had the same problem after moving my music hard drive to a new PC with a fresh install of windows on it.
This happened 2 weeks ago, so I’m not sure if it’s the same error that you’re having or something else.

Without logs, hard to say what’s happening. Most likely the path or permissions to music changed.

Thanks for your fast reply, when i play a movie from Plex i have no issues . All off my movies on Plex work. I haven’t changed anything as far I know. Afterwards I changed some permissions. When I am at home I will try to change some permissions.
Which other logs do you mean?

The music collection is on a hard drive on my NAS. I would rater not reinstall everything:(

Hello Elan, i just got home and i removed the “Muziek”(dutch) link on Plex. Then deleted the plexamp app.
I made a new link “Music” on plex and redirected to the location of the music folder. Then plex synchronized my Library. Downloaded the plexamp app and it worked!!. I can now play music through the plexamp app. i hope i keeps on working.
