I have been having this issue for a few days on my iPhone running 16.6.1.
I open the app and am able to search my library without issue. I can load artists and albums without issue. When I play a song I am stuck in an infinite loop of loading the song.
I am able to load the music fine with the regular Plex mobile app and other devices are not having this issue either.
I have tried the following
Logging out of my plex account on the device and logging back in.
Unfortunately the logs you’ve provided don’t really show much of anything happening, but it looks like you might have issues with connectivity back to your server.
I see it connecting at one point, but in that log it doesn’t show you playing any music, so I’m quite confused.

Hmm, well this is rather mysterious. The app appears to be deadlocking stopping the prior playback, so it never actually kicks off the play of the new thing. I’ve never seen anything like this before.
Firstly, if you launch the app, it looks like it has a prior play queue. Try holding down the pause button to forcefully stop/clear it. See if that succeeds, and if that allows you to play something else.
If that doesn’t work, please let me know if there’s anything else weird about your setup. It looks, for example, like you might have recreated a library after downloading media, because the sync refresh is failing because none of the items exist anymore.
But first try clearing out the old play queue and see if that helps.
I can force close the app, restart my phone, etc. Whenever I open Plexamp it’s stuck in this state, trying to play this one song I last played. I can’t even hold the play button to clear the queue. If I try to start playing anything else it loads forever.
