Can see media library remote but can't play anything

Server Version#: 4.55.0
Player Version#: 8.15.1.23935 (Android) and some different clients

Oke my setup is running flawelessly for over a year now. 2 days ago I got called by friends that their Samsung SmartTV Plex app couldn’t play any movies or series anymore. So I tested this using my mobile phone with the Android client using 4G and I am having the same issue.

Other friends who use the Web App (plex.tv) Can play everything just fine.

For the record on my phone and SmartTV I cant stream anything from my own server and 3 other servers when I am connected remotely.

When I am connected locally everything is just fine.

Whats going on ?

Multiple servers, Multiple Clients, Multiple ISP’s affected

My first guess would be something wrong with secure connections but I would look at the player apps logs to see what the server returns when the request is made to start playback.
