Its my undertsanding t6hat people are already having issues with Beta4 and therefore this was put inplace incase the issue in Beta 4 end up in the next OS version, so this was put in to stop updates Just in case.

Yep... there already was a request for this right at the beginning - I guess people were just used to have this with the jailbroken aTV's. Now that beta 4 failed it might be worth it. Furthermore, the built-in DNSServer had a couple of upgrades and it was not much of an issue to implement the feature.
You can always deactivate it in Settings.cfg...

I am good with having the setting and will leave it True for now. I was unaware of the problems with Beta4 since I do not take beta updates on ATV. This is the reason I assumed you put it there, but was interested in hearing whether Apple was actively trying to block such hijack attemtps like they have done with other Apple platforms. I will look up the Beta4 problems to educate myself.
