HI, i’m at my wits end and i can’t seem to get any help. i have a WD pr2100. 1 of my hdd’s failed so i had to goto my backup. i had to reinstall plex and that’s where everything went wrong. i think bullet point would be easier.

  1. when configuring plex from my cloud web app i get this site cannot be reached
  2. when i goto plex.tv, i login in and enter my pin and it takes me to the server, but my plex server is not there and there is no where to claim server. i see discover, live tv, and your media
  3. when i click on the settings, i don’t see my server anywhere
  4. i thought that i might need to factory reset my pr2100 since i replaced the drive. so i did that and reinstalled plex and i still can’t find it.

Can someone please help me. i’ve been a member since 2018 and had no where near the issues i’m currently having.

Can you confirm the server is set to run on the WD NAS? Then open http://[WD NAS IP address]:32400/web — if you did some kind of reset, make sure you’re on the same network/subnet when testing this.

thank you for replying. when i try and configure my plex server via mycloud (192.168.0.9),i get a “site cannot be reached” error. when i try and login through plex.tv, i can login via me email and then it prompts me to enter my pin(which i have been trying to find a way to disable). after that it takes me to my dashboard but i don’t see claim server.

it looks like something got fixed. i am able to see my server now
