The selected server is unreachable on WD PR2100

Plex Media Server was running fine, more or less, over the last year on my WD PR2100 NAS. Suddenly, I’ve changed nothing on the server or the network but no devices can reach the server (an iPhone and a couple of iPads, and a couple of desktop Macs). It’s running version 1333148, which your download page says is the latest available for a Western Digital NAS. (Installed the update Dec. 15; everything’s been fine until today, like I said).

From the PR2100 web-based admin panel, the server appears to be running when you check the installed apps page, but if you look at processes running, there is no Plex entry. I have rebooted the NAS twice and no change.

From a desktop Mac on the same network, when I go to https://app.plex.tv/web/app#, that’s where I get the “The selected server is unreachable” error. Under settings, I can set player and other local settings but if I click on the Server tab, it says “Server settings are unavailable.”

Also, from the PR2100 admin, there’s a button on the Plex App page that says Configure. Usually when you click on it, it takes you to an IP-based address (in my case http://192.168.100.11:32400/web) that usually brings up the Plex settings page, but now it responds with “192.168.100.11 refused to connect.”

Any ideas?

I tried reinstalling the current version of PMS for the PR2100 according to the posted instructions. No change. I can’t reach the Download Logs button because the “Server settings are unavailable.” Really hoping for some help from Plex.

Nevermind, found the solution in a NAS forum post, which is where I guess I should have started this thread anyway ( https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/205254/unable-to-access-plex-configuration-page-server-stopped-working )
