Can’t access playback control buttons or extras first episode only

Player Version#: 8.8

In any TV show, first episode of any season, I cannot navigate down from the episode thumbnail to anything. Pressing down does nothing. All other episodes and pressing down navigates normally to the playback controls and extras etc.
Was happening with previous release of both server/client.
