My daughter is in Argentina, she has a total of 18 hours of air travel so she asked me for some films she could watch on the plane.
My situation…
I have my own admin account, a guest account and then an account for my daughter.
Both the Guest and my daughter’s account have the same shares and privileges for which I have enabled downloads.
Downloads don’t work for either account!? On the Guest account, the shares are visible but can only be played, not downloaded. On my daughter’s account, she can see the main folder i.e. ‘Movies’, ‘TV Shows’, etc…but not the content!? So it appears empty so obviously no viewing and even less downloading!
So…nothing is working but in different dysfunctional ways!
One strange thing I notice is that in both accounts, when I go to ‘Account Settings/Plex Home’ and try to edit either accounts, there is an odd contradictory message as the ‘Libraries’ tab shows me what I’ve shared, while the ‘Media’ tab tells me I’m not sharing anything??
