Using Plex server over a Synology NAS. I can search my libraries from the Plex app on my TV, Roku, etc and it works … I can make a search by “beach” and get results.
From the IOS app v8.41, the search does not enable the keyboard so one can’t type
Any ideas?
Which model iPhone do you have?
I was trying to reproduce on my old iOS device but could not. I did find some other folks with the issue in general with other apps as well. Some said it was because they had a third party keyboard they were using. Some said a restarting device fixed it.

After migrating to IOS 18, the issue fix itself.
