A few of my local channels changed frequencies today. I rescanned my HDHomerun tuners which picked the new channel locations. I cannot get Plex DVR & guide to pick up these changes. I’ve even deleted the dvr & started again with no luck. Tried the “Manage Channels” the new frequencies for channels that changed are not listed. Is this a matter of the Plex guide source not being updated?
Any help would be appreciated!
Waiting for someone to answer this myself. Plex’s biggest problem is this BS when an issue arises. Trying to search forums to find similar problems, but by the time you find one it’s out of date or there have been updates that make the solution not feasible. I can barely figure out how to post or ask a question in a forum here, which is why I am replying to one… I am just going to go TiVo with lifetime (one time cost no monthly fees) I guess you get what you pay for. I got lifetime Plex so I’ll keep what I got but will just let it die out and finally delete it. Yeah, I’m lazy, I want plug n play, but you know something, this is 2020 not 1995 Cutting the cord is great but it’s been replaced by aggravation with updates, channels moving, transcoding issues etc…
Just sent in some info to Plex EPG Lineup Inaccuracies with the following link:
https://www.rabbitears.info/market.php?request=print_market&mktid=63.
This site has updated info with the latest frequency changes for my area.
My issue is Channel 7.1 7.2 7.3 7.4 67.1 67.2 67.3 67.4 67.5 Do not scan in for me anymore. I have 3 TV’s and they all receive all the channels, all TV’s (incl. plex comp. connection) use same antennae. The channels in 7. and 67. range no longer show up when I empty my list and rescan. ALL the other channels do.
