Can tags be edited at a master level?

I have a large ‘Other Videos’ library of home videos and I want to start using the ‘Writers’ tag field to list people that appear in the videos for better searching. Previously we were putting the names in the title and that becomes yucky very quickly.

Also very quickly, I’ve made a mistake and misspelled someone’s name. I know I can multi-select videos, delete the misspelled tag and then replace the correctly spelled name, but is there anyway to access the master tag list and renamthe tag at a master level?
