Cannot Access my server local or over vpn with app.plex.tv

I can access the server over 192.168.180.3:32400 (local and vpn)
I can access the server (without port forwarding) with the plex app on windows + android. (local and vpn)
I cannot access the server over app.plex.tv on windows. tried it in incognito. Did not help.
It did work a few days back just now it stopped working.

Is there anything i can check? I dont want to open ports on the firewall.

Removed the Server and Re Joined it to my account. Still no change.

I think i found an issue.

When checking the logs, my plex server local has a dns name for +++plex.direct

My default DNS from Vodafone did not Resolve this to an IP.

Changed my default DNS on my FritzBox to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 (checked before. with those servers it get my local ip).

Flushed the DNS and it worked.
