Server Version#: Not sure. I’m using a Binhex image of Plex Pass on Unraid and I’m 1 update behind. Not sure how to check since I don’t have access to the PMS UI
Player Version#: NA
I have a strange issue where I can no longer access the PMS web UI. Plex is fine otherwise. I have 2 PMS’ on different VLANs, VLAN 8 and VLAN 30. the PMS on VLAN 30 is inaccessibe. On any of the clients, I can see both servers in my library and can stream off any of the libraries. However, I can only connect to the PMS UI on the PMS on 8 VLAN. For the life of me I cannot think why the UI is inaccessible while everything else works fine. Any ideas for investigating further what the root cause could be?
Without suggesting that this is in any way wrong, I’m curious. Why?
Regarding your specific question though, do you see your server on VLAN 30 if you click the “More” link at the bottom of the side panel? If so, you should be able to pin any desired libraries from that server. (By default, a Plex client will only show libraries from a single server pinned when initially connected.)
Yes, I can see everything on that server on any device and they’re pinned just fine. The issue is connecting to the PMS UI on that server.

My other server is a warm standby with all the arrs running so if anything happens to my primary or that VLAN, I can still have everything running on the other VLAN ready to go.
Just so we’re clear. If you log in to https://app.plex.tv, you see both servers, right? And you can administer them both from there, correct?
And you’re not able to access http(s)://ipaddress_of_vlan30_server:32400/web, is that correct?
That’s correct (see screenshot below)

. I can also log into the IP address of vlan8:32400, but not IP address of vlan30:32400.
That’s a network issue then. Please describe in more detail your network topology and the equipment you’re using.
I have a UDM SE gateway plugged into a Unifi 10GbE PoE++ switch which provides the uplink to my server room, where these servers are, which links to another 24-port Unifi switch which has 2 10GbE SFP+ connectors (also has 2.5GbE and 1 GbE ports) which feeds another 10GbE 5 port switch which connects to these servers and also feeds a 1GbE PoE+ switch. The 24-port switch is new and I installed it after these issues started. The servers all use 10GbE from the 5-port switch with a 4-port bond in active passive mode, 2 of the passive backup ports connect into the 24port switch for redundancy… I’m not sure if it’s related, but these issues all started when I tried to SSH into the PMS from a VM on the opposing VLAN to ensure I could access them from both VLANs. It worked on the 8 VLAN, but not on the 30. Currently there are no VLAN restrictions between those 2 networks and I’ve checked the ports for anything that is restricted or not tagged with both VLANs and they’re open to each other with no restrictions. I have 2 other VLANs which I’ve tried it from and none of those are able to access the 30 VLAN PMS. Is there anything else I should provide some more detail on that would be helpful?
Bumping this up in case anyone has any troubleshooting ideas.
