Cannot access server settings

Server Version#: v1.23.1.4528-c0513eb4c
Player Version#: 4.55.1

Hi,

I am unable to access my server settings. When in plex web (either through app.plex.tv, or direct access), I get a message saying “Server settings are unavailable.” when I try to view any of the server settings.

The network log in my browser shows a request to /system/:/prefs, to which the server responds with a generic 404 page.

My firewall doesn’t list any blocked packages going to or from the Plex server.

Is there some way to find out what’s causing this error, and then to resolve it?

Thanks!

What are your PMS log files showing?

Hi Tom,

the weird thing is that I don’t see anything in the plex logs for these requests. I’ve tried manually repeating the requests using telnet, which results in a bad request error. Those bad requests do show up in the log.

Don’t worry, it looks like FreeBSD Plex Media Server version 1.23.0.4459: no settings access

Same here, again, with version 1.23.1.4602
