Cannot add server (Synology)

Server Version#: Version 4.76.1
Player Version#:

Plex Media Server(1).log (563.7 KB)

I had to reinstall Plex server on my Synology, and now I can’t edit my server settings. When I choose ‘Your media’, all I get is a button that redirects me to the website, but my server settings are nowhere to be seen. My Synology is in a different subnet. Do I need to port forward to ‘fake’ that my PC is in the same subnet ?

Make sure to finish the setup by accessing the version of Plex Web bundled with your server through the Syno’s local IP address (no quickconnect, no local host names…) from within the same subnet.

This should bring up the setup dialog where you get to name your server and can link it to your Plex account.

You must be on the same subnet to claim it.
