I want to be able to see my friend’s watchlists so that I can add movies they want to watch. But for some reason while I can easily follow the steps here to find my privacy settings and allow my friends to see my watchlist, my friends do not see that.
To figure out what’s happening, I got on my testing account and when I click “view profile” all I see is my name and profile picture, and My Friends, but not My Watchlist, My ratings, My History, etc. I would obviously need these settings in order to make my watchlist public.
What my main account sees under “My Profile”:
What my test account sees under “My Profile”:
This seems insane. While I suppose the difference could be that my main account has a plex pass and my test account doesn’t, it doesn’t say anywhere that these features are paywalled. And is it really necessary that you have a plex pass just to allow others to see your watchlist? And when I try to see my friends watchlist’s it doesn’t say “they don’t have a plex pass” it says “they have set their watchlist to private” so I assume there must be some setting somewhere that I am missing.
Does anyone know what to do about this?
