Cannot claim my server on Synology DSM7 after format

Ive installed the DSM 7 beta, and afterwards had to format some drives for RAID, meaning i had to delete my old installation of plex.
Since then ive installed it with the beta in the package center, and i think at one point it came up with the “Lets get started” etc. I wasnt ready though, so i closed the window. Now everytime i press the Plex button or login, it logs in to nothing. My server isnt there, it just says it cannot find anything.
Thorugh forums i can see some tricks renaming files, which should get the intro up again, problem is i cannot find a plex directory??
Im under “Shared folders”, im logged in as admin, i cannot see anything Plex related in there. It doesnt seem to have a directory.

Hmm from that it doesnt seem possible:

  1. At this point, Uninstall the failed package (Make sure to KEEP existing data!! )

I tried keeping it but couldnt get it to work. Afterwards i deleted it to start fresh. It doesnt say what i can do, if ive deleted it

  1. Install the package again on the same volume as before
  2. Uninstall the package - ERASE ALL DATA.
  3. Open https://app.plex.tv
  4. Settings - Authorized Devices - Servers
  5. Find the name of the server - “X” - Remove it.
  6. Sign Out of Plex/Web (upper right).
  7. Slap self for installing DSM 7

I think i removed it recently in hope of starting over.

DSM 7 wasnt a problem with plex until i started setting up RAID, therefore formatting my drives :frowning: I assume its a problem i only have new volumes now

The package must be FULLY uninstalled and the entire process started again.

Plex Media Server internal storage is placed on the RAID volume because the DSM internal storage is insufficient. (only 2 GB)

New volumes mandates uninstall, reboot of DSM, purge from plex.tv, reinstall as fresh.

I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH

– Upgrading to DSM 7, while in BETA state

– AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Im well aware DSM7 was a risk, so its not like ill be mad if i cannot get it to work. I know it will work some day when DSM7 is further. Atm i dont think i can get the normal package to do so, so im looking into Docker instead.

The Docker installation seems to be working, only problem is it cannot find my media. The plex user has read/write permission for my medie folders and docker folder, and ive mounted the folders with the media in:
