Cannot Connect to LAN Folders After (Plex Advised) Manual Server Update

Server Version#: 1.25.5.5492

Following repeated failed server update attempts I posted the issue in the Plex forum and followed the advice given to manually install the latest server as above on my Windows 64 Pro machine.

The server update completed successfully. The library update ran and I assume completed successfully.

However none of the web player, android player or firestick player can play any of my media, which is all stored in Lan network folders.

The folders are all mounted and working fine and dandy within windows, however if i manage a media library and opt to ‘add folder’, i can only see my local C: drive and its folder structure, whereas before the update I would have seen all of my network shares.

I tried adding a folder by typing its location directly into the add folder field, and it looks to save successfully as it always would, with that folder showing as the media location, however the media is all still unavailable. Anyway, it would be a real ball-ache to have to go through my entire collection of libraries and re-enter the location.

I have been through the entire settings pages looking for anything that may affect the availability of lan locations, but can find nothing that would appear to affect this.

I appreciate the time of the person telling me how to do a manual update, but obviously not at the expense of losing access to all files.
