After using Plex from my DL4100 to my Roku 4 within my home network without issues for years, I recently had to replace the malfunctioning DL4100 with a PR4100.
The PR4100 is running the most recent version of firmware and the folder/file structure of the PR4100 is identical to that of the DL4100. I have downloaded the newest version of Plex app to the PR4100 and even uninstalled and re-installed the Plex app on the Roku. Regardless of what I have done so far, I cannot get the Roku to “connect”. The PR4100 shows up in Roku, but I get a triangle with an exclamation point. I have even tried the “manual” connection by entering the PR4100’s IP address, but to no avail.
I am obviously overlooking something, but since I had made no changes to the router (other than looking in the router to get the PR4100’s IP), I can’t imagine what is preventing the PR4100 from properly being “found” and connecting. Any assistance/guidance would be appreciated!
