UTTERLY FRUSTRATED. WD PR4100 server

Hello all. Just bought a WD PR4100, and installed Plex Server, but whatever I do, I cannot connect to it. I click on the CONFIGURE button on the APPS page of the dashboard, and am rerouted to sign into my Plex Account, and all that happens is it cannot find the server. Have tried all the limited help available online, removing and reinstalling the server software (both automatically and manually), no difference. The two devices are on the same network and I am using the same MacBook to both access the Dashboard and my Plex account. Close to giving up frankly, spent more than 12 hours so far.

Any help greatly appreciated.

How have you installed plex, was it manually with a .bin file or via WD apps?
I’d recommend via a .bin

Thanks dazbibaby. Have tried that, same result. I’m starting to wonder if I have some sort of hardware fault…

Got it. Faulty router!! Swapped for a better one and suddenly it connects. I live and learn!
