Pr4100 pms will not connect

I have been fighting with this for a while, The server appears on my roku plex but despite trying to use an activity code several times, it does not connect.

The server will not appear on the plex app.
The server will not appear using the server ip and configuring pms.
I have used system restore on the pr4100
I have logged out of plex app and server and re logged in
I have uninstalled PM on the server and reinstalled.

I have other synology nas which appear and work fine.

The server will let me use data on it pms from another server as a link/network drive but I cannot make the server work directly.

Found the answer, it seems the “database” on pr4100 gets corrupted, see attached for the solution that worked for me.
