anyone else experiencing this? i’ve disabled “Manage Home Automatically” and i can hide the hubs i don’t want to see, but no matter how else i customize the settings only “RECENTLY ADDED MOVIES” and “RECENTLY ADDED TV” show up on my home screen. “CONTINUE WATCHING” and “ON DECK” (which always appeared in the past) have completely disappeared even though i have them enabled and ordered to be at the top of the screen. i never had any problems with this until a few updates ago. is there some new setting or something i’m missing?
FYI i am experiencing this problem across all devices (ie. web, streaming app, etc.) and my Plex Media Server is up to date ( Version 1.18.6.2368)
i do, but i don’t want to remove it, i just want “continue watching” and “on deck” to appear on screen as well. are you saying i have to delete the hubs that are already on there to make it work?
Just a guess here, but your screenshot shows some text that reads, “Only hubs with content will be visible on your home screen.” Do you have anything in “On Deck” or “Continue Watching”?
aha!!! inadvertantly figured it out (while searching for what exactly “on deck” means). there is an advanced setting under Settings > Server > Library > ‘Show Advanced’ called “Weeks to consider for On Deck and Continue Watching." it seems for whatever reason mine was set to 0. i bumped it up to 8, refreshed the server, and voila! “continue watching” showed back up on my home screen (“on deck” did not but i’m assuming i have nothing in that queue since i don’t really even know what that is)
On Deck is baseball/sports term, the next batter is on deck for example
On Deck is only TV episodes. It shows the next episode of a show you are watching. So if you just watched S01E02 of something it will show S01E03 as On Deck. it will stop showing it if you don’t end up watching that episode within the “Weeks to consider…”
