Player Version#: 1.19.0.1399-31d8c803 (Plex for Mac)
Hello, I noticed that a couple of months ago, the metadata stopped downloading for the media on my UnRAID (Docker-installed) Plex server. It had been working fine, and then I noticed that a smattering of new titles did not grab all metadata. It did download some stuff – cast, rating, runtime, and some other data. It did NOT download the posters, studio, tagline, summary, or cast pictures.
Not sure what changed between when it was working fine and when it was not. It was possibly after an update.
I tried a whole lot of different things after reading through the forums:
- Clean Bundles and Optimize Library (tried removing media files, clean bundles, optimize library, moving media back on, scan library. Did not work)
- Checked Agents under Settings > Agents
2a. unchecked Local Media Assets - Removed /$PLEX_HOME_DIRECTORY/Library/Application\ Support/Plex\ Media\ Server/Plug-in\ Support/Caches
3a. Restarted PMS - Removed /$PLEX_HOME_DIRECTORY/Library/Application\ Support/Plex\ Media\ Server/Plug-in\ Support/Data/*/HTTPCookies
4a. Restarted PMS, Scan Library, Refresh Metadata - Restarted UnRAID Server
- Checked that plex.direct was added to my pfsense DNS Resolver
I’m not sure what else to try, but I am very sad and frustrated that I can’t figure this out. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
