TV library
/mnt/data/tv/“Murders with Friends {imdb-tt6244104}”
This will not show up as a blank item or something I can click fix match. Even if there is no metadata I can add a cover and make it look like season 1 and season 2.
I dont know what to do. I followed naming conventions.
If I add it to a movie library it makes each episode a seperate movie. I want it in plex under tv → Series Name → Season 1, 2

You are naming the episodes incorrectly.
Rename according to Plex requirements.
If you have any portion of the show left in a movie library, remove it.
Plex does not support mixing movies and TV shows in the same library.
After renaming and reorganizing, Plex Dance the entire series.
This removes incorrect matching information from the Plex Media Server database.

../Murder with Friends (2016) {tmdb-70749} <-- Show_Name (year) {tmdb or tvdb id}
..../Season 02 <-- "Season" in English, two digits for number
....../Murder with Friends (2016) s02e54 Amanda Knox.mkv <-- sXXeYY mandatory.
FYI… quick match search using tmdb-70749 worked fine …
so as FordGuy61 suggests you may need a full plex dance (all steps) after removing the imdb id tag from the folder name and naming your episodes correct so plex can pick them up.
I used this command with filebot to change youtube-dl to plex
I will explain this script in case anyone reading this in the future needs any assistance with a series NOT on TVDB but on TMDB, and is a youtube series w/ bad naming.
Tells filebot to use plex naming but trims the command so you can point it to your tv library. Mine is /mnt/data/tv
--q "Murder with Friends" --filter "s == 1"
the --q option tells filebot the explicit name, go to tvdb and find the name exactly.
the --filter “s == 1” tells filebot to ignore any other seasons besides 1
Finally
-non-strict
helps it match a bit better because youtube videos have garbage titles like
The North Hollywood Shootout Part 1 - Murder With Friends [VxNyxUpIxtg].mkv'
the [VxNyxUpIxtg] is the youtube url, but tbh it confuses a lot of things
