Hi, I’m running plex server Version 1.94.1.155-f1e7f457 on Unubtu 22.04.4 LTS.
I’m trying to load The Bullwinkle and friends show and the episodes are not being named correctly.
The show has 5 segments per episode. On IMDB they are named correctly and grouped by episode. On TVDB, each segment is named as an entire episode, which is not right. My files are as whole episodes. I’m not going to spit the files up into segments.

Title: The Bullwinkle Show
Year: 1959
Season: 1
I’ve renamed the show directory with the IMDB index and done the plexdance:
The Bullwinkle Show {imdb-tt0052507}
and nothing… It still forces the incorrect TVDB naming scheme.
Is there a method to put the metadata info for Title, Sort Title, and Summary for all the files for a Season into a text/json file and plex override the incorrect data?
I really don’t want to have to edit each and every episode in the GUI…
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff
