Thanks to all of you that responded.
I just moved the file to a drive that is not seen by Plex. Rescanned the movie library and the movie is still showing up! So doing the ENTIRE Plex dance cannot even be done. I even tried just emptying the trash and tried to do the “clean bundles” but that option does not show up. With the movie file still not seen by Plex since its on a different drive, if I go to Get Info and try to delete the file showing in Plex it gives me an error “There was a problem deleting this item”.
