Hi I deleted a file from Plex that I merged with another series with “fix match”, now if I try to scan the file again it won’t show up on Plex.

After all that the file isn’t detected even if before I deleted it I could see the same file on the server.

How exactly is it named? Take a screenshot of it or provide some logs. I need to see it’s extension and how - exactly - it resides in your library structure.
Also:
If you don’t do EVERY STEP of The Plex Dance, exactly, in the precise order given - it simply won’t work.

Your Movie Folder should be named EXACTLY like your Movie - technically.
That “Movie” doesn’t exist at IMDB (Plex Movie) or TMDB - at all.
It’s probably E15 of the Specials Season of this show at TVDB:

If you insist on having it in your Movies Library - you’ll have to Fix Match, change the Agent in the Search Options to ‘Personal Media’ then hand edit the item - if we can ever get Plex to see it.
MKV files don’t suffer from the same Plex mishandling of MP4/M4V files - so that’s not the problem for this item.
You need to repeat the Plex Dance - and do all the steps in order this time.
If you say so… and that means it’s part of a TV Show.
The issue is that ‘Movie’ or whatever it is - is locked up inside a bogus bundle - The Plex Dance being the ONLY way to spring it - and it may take a Plex Dance for the entire show it should be a part of, but isn’t.
In a very short time - like if the next Plex Dance doesn’t work - we’re gonna need some logs and some advanced help.

it’s me again.
I tried to change agent in the search options -> file not detected
tried again doing the empty trash etc. -> file not detected
changed the agent to The Movie Database -> file not detected
moved manually the folder from Anime (tv shows) to Film (Movies) -> file finally detected
So if I put a movie in the tv shows folder it won’t be detected?
No, it will not.
You could put in a:
Season 00
Folder, in that TV Show and name it:
Saga of Tanya the Evil - S00E16 - Saga of Tanya the Evil Movie.mkv
(appropriate for your language)
Then it would be with all the others of the same thang. <— and Plex would see that, no problem.

ok I think I will let the folder in the Movies just to not make a mess again, thanks for the help.
