I just reinstalled plex for the first time in a while on Windows. Wanted to connected my library from my physical hard drive (that’s plugged into this stationary PC) to my media server. Plex app won’t recognize that Media Server is installed and open. I’ve gone through the local app data, registry editor, uninstalled and reinstalled everything, basic things that you can do without having an extensive knowledge of github extensions. Nothing is working and when i go to the “your media” tab, it just says “add your media to Plex” with a button to download the Media Server. I’m totally lost and frustrated. Anyone have any ideas?
