I attempted to invite a user to my server yesterday and for a brief moment it looked like they were able to connect, then suddenly their user name disappeared from my friends list and I am unable to invite them again as I keep getting the “User has already been invited” error when I attempt to do so.
A newly invited user has to “accept” the invitation on their end, before you can do anything with it.
It appears that this user has been invited 2 times, and deleted afterwards. Without accepting the invitation either time.
Is there a way to resend the invitation to the prospective user?
At this moment, does the user appear on https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/profile , under the button “Requests”?
Or maybe here: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/friends

It should now be possible to repeat the invitation.
After you did that, please send the invitee to https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/profile and have him click on the “Requests” button.
The user I invited does not appear in either place you linked, I am still seeing the “user has already been invited” message when I try to send the an invitation

Could you force refresh the Web app in your browser (F5) and try once again?
Just tried that. No change
Could you try again, after clearing your web browser cache?
Are you actually using the same plex account as you are using to access this forum?

Yes, I am using the only Plex account I have access to. Cleared cache in Firefox; no change in status of invitation. Also tried to execute the request in the Windows standalone plex player with the same result.
Just tried with MS Edge; same result
Could you send me the email address of the invited user per PM?

9 days running still no change in the situation.
I am told that this should be resolved now. Please try the invitation again.
