cannot log into Plex app?

I had bee using the Plax app on my XBOX One with great success, but today I am unable to launch the app.  when I start it up, I am taken to the authentication screen where I am told "Microsoft Account Required" even though I am logged into the console.  when I select the "sign in" button and choose my profile, I end up right back at the same screen.

 

Any thoughts?

Quick update, I uninstalled/reinstalled the app and it's working now.  Very odd for sure.
