Worked fine last night. Suddenly the application asks for me to sign in via the "Welcome to Plex - Plex Pass Preview" "Microsoft Account Required" window.
I select sign in. I select "choose this person" as the only other account on here is that of my GF who hasn't used it in months.
And it takes me back to the screen to choose a person to sign in as (which I am). What gives?
Your plex account can only link to one xbox live account. Check this thread to learn about multi-user for xbox one: [How to use multi-user on Xbox One](https://forums.plex.tv/topic/132749-how-to-use-multi-user-on-xbox-one/)
It is only linked to one Live account. Are you saying that you MUST perform this workaround regardless of use of other accounts on the system? Seems kinda dumb to have to make her activate an account for something she doesn't use.
After doing this, launching the app from the XBOne, it still does the same thing. Says to sign in. I sign in. Then it asks to sign in. I sign out. Try the other account. NOPE! Same thing.
The ONLY thing that works is uninstalling the program. Every time I want to use it. Should I just look into using a different application or switching over to another version of Plex for a different device that works?
That shouldn't be a problem, something must have happened where the token was invalid. This isn't something that's happened more than once is it? Or is it an ongoing issue?
There is an easy fix. Close the app and re-open after you have signed it.
If you open the app and it ask you to sign in. After you select your account, if you still see that screen, just close and relaunch the app and it should work the same as doing a hard reboot.
Any app/game can be closed this way...
Directions:
Go to Xbox One home screen, or say "xbox go home"
Move the selection box over the game or app that is desired to be closed
Press the Menu button on the controller "Also known on older/other consoles as the Start Button"
Select the Quit option from the menu that opens.
Now re-open the app by just selecting it and pressing A
At this point you have quit the app and relaunched it fresh and it should work normally.

Already did that. Rebooted the system fully. Unplugged it. Put it in a bag to keep the gremlins out. Plugged it back in. Powered on. Same issue.
