Xbox One Plex app says "microsoft account required, please sign into you are xbox one" even

has anyone had that error when trying to access the Plex XB1 app? I have signed out and back in again and it still says this.

I've had it happen several times.  Quitting the plex app and relaunching it has solved it for me.

I had the same problem for days. Just un-install plex and re-install plex gets it working again. B)

I came across this error also.  The recommendation to uninstall and reinstall did the trick, but this is a very frustrating bug.

Follow these steps to uninstall:

Home > My games & Apps

Apps

Hover over Plex

Menu button (right small button under xbox button)

Manage App

Click on Internal dropdown (Internal Manage all)

Uninstall All

Uninstall

You should now see "ready to install".  Click that and the Install button.

When you run the app, it should now work and it should also remember your server.

Sorry if this seems obvious.  I'm playing with my Xbox Christmas present and stumbled around to figure this out. I thought someone else might appreciate the help.

I am having the same problem. How new is the app to XB1? Is Plex working on fixing this issue?

This issue is still present. Just bought an XBox One and i got stuck at the same sign in issue. Why is there no fix still?

This is my only issue with Plex ever since buying a Plex Pass.

There are two fixes:

- Reinstall the app every single time you want to use it

- After you are finished with Plex, make sure to open another Xbox One app before you log out

These are utterly ridiculous fixes for Plex on Xbox One, an app that markets itself as a premium product. The Plex team really should work on this. Any Plex Staff want to let us know how the fix for this is going? Is this going to be a Microsoft problem?

This generally happens when the Plex app loads before the Live account is signed in.

Every time I've had it happen and retry didn't work, quitting the app fixed the issue.
