The folder is named " Espagne - L’histoire vue du ciel" (due to Windows not allowing a “:”), inside is a folder “Season 01” and the files look like this example “Espagne - L’histoire vue du ciel - S01E01 - Hispania.mp4”
I’ve tried to “Fix match” and select “Search options” but still the series is not found. If I try for example:
Title “Vue du ciel”, Agent “TheTVDB”, Language “Francaise”.
I get mainly (wrong) English results.
The same search on TheTVDB at least gives me a list with the right series included: https://www.thetvdb.com/search?q=Vue+du+ciel&l=fr
Edit: I’ve just discovered that apparently you can enter the TheTVDB id in the title field. But still: if I enter 364727… nothing. What am I missing?
Maybe a bug? I’d appreciate any help!
It would be great if Plex could include a “force match”-feature that I see in Serviio
(wiki. serviio. org / doku.php?id=imbd_metadata_naming)
then I could force-match the series by including TheTVDB-ID in the folder name,
for example:
Espagne - L’histoire vue du ciel (2019) [theTVDB-id364727]
Thanks for your answer! It showed me that somehow I should be able to find the show
However, it was not so easy: even with the exact title (with the colon in the middle), I didn’t get your results.
I had to repeat the same search two or three times until the right series showed up. And this happens with other series too - first search, no results. Repeat with exactly the same data, series found. Weird.
What really bothers me though is that even with the correct TvDB ID (like suggested at the end of this page https://support.plex.tv/articles/201018497-fix-match-match/) Plex doesn’t give me an immediate result.
I tried to have a look at the log-file, but that didn’t help me much
