Cannot Opt-Out in Privacy Settings!

I have previously opted out of sending playback, server and library data to Plex using:

However, i have just gone back to the page some time later and found “Send playback data to Plex” is ticked!

When I uncheck it and reload the page it remains ticked! There is no save button, it used to save automatically when unchecked.

Anyone else experiencing the same? I hope in the mean time this is just a page bug and that plex haven’t been harvesting data against their users wills.

Most likely this is the side effect of some “privacy-minded” special web browser or some web browser add-in which suppresses parts of a web page to get loaded or scripts getting executed.

Thanks for your reply, a short time after i posted this, the privacy page went offline showing a 404 and then come back online some time later without any changes my side.

I suspect having checked Chrome Dev Tools at the time, that they were making changes to the page and the JS AJAX check/update behind the check boxes was taken offline.

All working once again anyhow.
