I’m having an issue that sounds similar to what is reported here.
I rented a Movie yesterday on my phone. Then I go to the Plex app on my TV (a Sony TV with Plex installed on the native Google TV OS on the TV itself). I see the movie listed in the Rentals section of the Plex app. When I press play, I get this error:
An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.
Playing the movie on my phone works. Trying to cast from the Plex app on my phone just takes me to the Rental view, but the video never starts playing (the video controls stay active on my phone, but they are useless).
I have three TVs (all Sony TVs but different models) and I went ahead and updated all the software and apps on the TVs, and two of my TVs cannot play the video, and one TV can.
