New to plex

I can play a rental movie on Plex on my TV but not my iPhone or tablet. Get a s3016 error code.

Cant play a trailer to see what the movie is about and support is almost non existence except for a email that said you can play it on your tv so that’s it.

I’ve been looking for this problem but alot of threads and I still haven’t found it.
Any suggestions
Also I do not see a heading for plex media server on iPhone.

Updated my iPhone, turned off subtitles to see if movie would play and turn off direct play which were things people said worked for them.

Have you loaded the dedicated iOS Plex app from the Apple Store?

You might not be able to play your rentals in the web app that runs in Safari on your phone.

Yes sir. I downloaded it. It has an error s3016 on it.
I appreciate the response also!!
I took subtitle off which I seen someone done that.

Are you using a VPN? Either on the device which you used to rent the movie, or on the phone?
