Cannot Remove OpenSubtitle PGS Subtitles

This is crazy. I enabled OpenSubtitles to download subtitles for all of my library, turns out it downloaded PGS files which force me to transcode.

Ive tried to delete various subfolers, uninstall Plex, delete users etc and even after fresh installs on my Synology the subtitles are still showing as an option in my movies.

Ive tried installing webtools but it doesnt let me select them all, its bugged out.

How on earth do I remove them/delete them so only my local media subtitles show?

EDIT:

I thought you referencing main Linux, not Synology.

Open File Station
Go to the Plex share
In the Upper right corner, enter *.pgs in the search box.
Let it find them. (This will take a long time so be patient)
Confirm they are all PGS subtitles, select the list, delete.
Refresh the metadata afterwards so Plex knows what has been done.

Thanks Chuck but I found nothing - I even deleted all folders. Ive tried uninstalling the Plex client, deleting Synology user. Im even trying to use Putty (noob) and following a guide but cannot see any directories remaining for Plex in Vol1 or Vol2!?

Each time I reinstall the client and add libraries its still showing countless PGS files as subtitle options which I know arent local.

Control Panel - Shared Folders

the “Plex” share will be listed.

EDIT it.

Permissions tab

Give your username permission to R/W

Now you will see it in Filestation.

I do this to prevent media from accidentally finding its way there.

Thanks Chuck, just done that. Done a fresh install again but note hopeful. Currently Plex us down for maintenance ironically so unable to check yet!
