Cannot scan Music media files all of a sudden

Hello. I am running plex on linux (16.04.1) and today I installed a couple os updates and restarted. Everything is fine, except I cannot scan my Music library files now - I get a message “An internet connection is required to scan library files…”

I can update Movies, I can update TV, I cannot update Music (???).

There is an internet connection on this machine - can someone help me?

The status page now says “All Systems Operational,” yet I’m still having the same problem.

same but with scanning libraries in general

restarting Plex (the Docker container in my case) solved this issue after the outage today.

I also seem to have a problem in scanning. It seems to have started a couple hours ago, although I didn’t immediately recognize it. I have restarted my server in the last 15 minutes. I’m getting odd behavior, like an immediate 100% Match result with a blank name; this is while trying to Artist match.

Confirming that everything is hunky-dory (to use a technical term) after a reboot - scanning working again - thanks all.
