Player Version#:I use only the Plex Media Server on my laptop directly
My NAS is on the same network as my Laptop. Plex Media Server is installed on my laptop. I created to libraries that were connected easily using add Libraries on Media Server. When I connect a large external drive by USB to the back of my NAS, I am unable to see the USBshare Shared folder on Plex to add the library. I can created the library manually by typing /volumes/usbshare and the library is created but the folders within the shared folder I cannot access and therefore Plex Media Server doesnt see them. I have permissions to the Shared USBshare drive the same as the ones that I do see. What can i do to get Plex Media server to allow me to access these files?
Stop and restart Plex server. It cannot recognize storage which is added during runtime.

Is that the same as signing out and then signing in again?
By the way, My plex media server is on a MACbook pro 4
i just signed out completely and signed in and they are there. thank you
