Cannot sign into Plex server on my NAS

I have moved my WD MyCloud NAS (which has my Plex server installed on it) to a different house and plugged it into the modem here. I knew I would have to reconfigure the server to get it recognised. I deleted the MyCloud server from the Plex app and wish of course to get it back with its new location. The WD MyCloud unit shows up on my network OK and I can see its IP address. However when I launch the Plex web app, there is no server option in the left panel. An article on Plex support says I should sign into the server. It says to use the ‘bundled app’ as opposed to the web app. I assume this means the desktop version of the Plex app — I have downloaded this but it is exactly the same as the web app and does not have a server item in the list.

If I enter the IP address of MyCloud in my browser, its control panel pops up. If I then add :32400/web to it, as per the instructions I have read, the message comes back that the browser cannot connect to the IP address. I have the most rudimentary understanding of networking tech and have no clue how to pursue this any further. Any help most gratefully received.
