Cannot update library

Server Version#: 1.15.6.1079
Player Version#: 3.95.2

I cannot update my libraries either manually or automatically/scheduled.

Last movies added on May 21st updated, movies added on May 26th still not showing up. If I chose to “scan library” the little circle arrow starts then stops.

Does user plex have permission to read the media?
If it is automounted under /media, it most likely doesn’t.

Even after chmod -R 777 on the “movies” folder that I have Plex still won’t update the library.

I do have my “movies” folder under /media but it’s always been there

I STILL can’t update anything in my library. Can anyone help me?

please rescan the files.
Upon completion, please download the logs and attach them.
I will see what it’s complaining at.

I think I figured it out, Chuck.

For whatever reason, the last 3 movies were somehow combined into 1 selection. I had to “split” them within Plex. Once done, Plex was able to detect them separately. I’ve been using Plex for several years and I’ve never had that happen before, nor do I even know how it happened.
